This guide is a practical resource developed to help organizations foster respectful, inclusive, and bias-free communication at the workplace. It outlines how everyday language can be made more inclusive across lines of gender, age, ability, ethnicity, and religion, and includes helpful tools such as neutral vocabulary, inclusive hiring language, and basic Pakistan Sign Language.

The guide was created by the Centre of Excellence in Responsible Business (CERB) at the Pakistan Business Council, in collaboration with Faysal Bank. Together, CERB and Faysal Bank developed this locally grounded resource to support workplaces in promoting dignity, empathy, and belonging through the way we communicate.
