“Employer of Choice” Awards

The “Employer of Choice” Gender Diversity Awards are a pioneering initiative to measure progress towards women’s economic participation in the private sector. These Awards are given on the basis of the “Gender Diversity and Disclosure Scorecard” jointly developed by the PBC and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). For 2024, the Scorecard has been updated to reflect the local context as well as incorporate the learnings from the previous cycles.

These Awards aren’t mere tokens of appreciation; they are game-changers, challenging the status quo and rewriting the narrative of success. The “Employer of Choice” Gender Diversity Awards celebrate the pioneers and trailblazers who are making a difference for women’s participation in the workforce.

For the winners of the previous two cycles, these Awards have been a reputational boon, showcasing their best practices and highlighting them as exemplary employers for women. Submissions for the third cycle are now open and we highly encourage companies to apply.
