Pioneering initiative to celebrate gender diversity in the workplace
The PBC-IFC “Employer of Choice” Gender Diversity Awards are a leading programme that recognizes and celebrates companies in Pakistan making significant progress towards gender equality in their workplaces. These Awards are based on the “Gender Diversity and Disclosure Scorecard“, a comprehensive framework jointly developed by the PBC and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to measure a company’s commitment to gender diversity. The Scorecard is updated each year to reflect the latest best practices and learnings from previous cycles.
Over the past three cycles, more than 70 companies have participated in the “Employer of Choice” awards process, making it a powerful driver of positive change in Pakistan’s corporate sector. Award winners have not only gained valuable recognition for their achievements in gender diversity, but have also used the program as a platform to showcase their best practices and attract top female talent.
How to Participate
Companies can participate in the Employer of Choice program by following these steps:
- Register your organization as a nominee here: https://bit.ly/cerbawards25
- Access the nomination form, the Gender Diversity and Disclosure Scorecard, here: https://cerb.pbc.org.pk/employer-of-choice-awards/
- Carefully review the Scorecard and submission guidelines.
- Complete the Scorecard by indicating which gender diversity policies and practices your organization has implemented.
- Submit your completed Scorecard, along with any supporting evidence, by email to rajaa@pbc.org.pk before May 1, 2025.
Important Note: Providing evidence to support your responses in the Scorecard is entirely voluntary. However, we strongly encourage you to submit any documentation that demonstrates your organization’s commitment to gender diversity as a full reflection of your organization’s achievements.
