Gender Equality

Due to various structural and cultural barriers, Pakistan’s female workforce participation remains stagnant around 22%, which is why CERB supports capacity-building in gender equality for the private sector. Through our partnerships with the IFC, UNICEF and UN Women, we provide comprehensive guidance on family-friendly workplaces, anti-harassment mechanisms, and development of female leadership and women-led talent pipelines. Since 2021, our annual “Employer of Choice” Gender Diversity Awards help companies measure progress on their gender-equity targets and creating optimal organisational environments for an inclusive workforce.

Capacity-building

Capacity-building on SDG 5 under our flagship SDG Leadership Programme.
Climate2Equal, an IFC-PBC peer-earning platform to help companies mitigate the gendered impact of climate change.
Through the PBC, CERB has signed an MOU with UNICEF to take the lead in identifying workable models for family-friendly policies.
