Due to various structural and cultural barriers, Pakistan’s female workforce participation remains stagnant around 22%, which is why CERB supports capacity-building in gender equality for the private sector. Through our partnerships with the IFC, UNICEF and UN Women, we provide comprehensive guidance on family-friendly workplaces, anti-harassment mechanisms, and development of female leadership and women-led talent pipelines. Since 2021, our annual “Employer of Choice” Gender Diversity Awards help companies measure progress on their gender-equity targets and creating optimal organisational environments for an inclusive workforce.
