A business environment founded on the principles of inclusive and sustainable systems generates livelihood creation and increased standard of living. This is because such an environment facilitates resilient and accessible infrastructural development; adoption of clean technology that assists transition to a low-carbon economy; and universal access to capital, goods, information, and communications technology. CERB promotes multiple approaches under this strategic goal that encompass consultations and collaborations with the private sector, civil society organizations, and multinational development institutions for the promotion of investment and governance approaches to social wellbeing and low-carbon business activities.
