Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Workshop held in collaboration with SDG Leader for Goal 9, Soorty Enterprises

Soorty Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Responsible Business conducted a one-day workshop on chemical management for zero discharge of hazardous chemicals. The aim of the workshop was to create awareness on how companies can measure their chemical usage and outputs.

The workshop had a variety of speakers across the ZDHC landscape. Experts from Soorty’s Sustainability team Amir Qureshi and Nazia Mughal and international expert Saket Kulkarni spoke about the importance of chemical management and global best practices on ZDHC.

The workshop was attended by chemical analysts, environmental specialists and chemical managers with specific areas of expertise such as drilling from a wide variety of companies such as National Foods Limited, H Nizam & Sons, Feroze1888 Mills Ltd, Naveena Group and Engro Polymer.
